This exciting live band from Greatest Manchester/Salford is headed up by the acid-skiffle, ukulele-playing CP Lee, founder member of satirical Rock band Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias. Also in the Sheiks is the Albertos' guitar maestro John Scott, and playing alongside them are Gary 'National' Atkinson, Bob 'Ragin' Cajun' Dickinson and Dave 'bass player to the stars' Lunt. Here's another day in the life of the oldest man in Rock, this time with Maria Muldaur and Earl Palmer ... the great Earl Palmer played with such luminaries as Little Richard and Fats Domino and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. Drummer of the highest regard, Earl Palmer died 19 Sept 2008 aged 84. |
